Thin skin!

Are we seriously this sensitive?  Where does it stop?  Any Hispanics that have a problem with "Colorado" and Native American have a problem with "Utah"...I hear that Mil-a-wa-keh is the origianl pronounciation of Milwaukee--maybe someones has a problem with that assocaition.

People are sensitive winers that need to get a real life and stop digging around for ways to become a victim.  I am sure someone somewhere is trying ot find a way to profit from this...

Mil-a-wa-keh huh?! Who says Wayne's World isn't educational!

Seriously though, the fact these people still get worked up over this stuff is proof that they must truly not want to end racism and get past the whole slavery part of our country's history. They continually bring it up to use it as a crutch or for some means of benefit to get gain. We would all just let it go and move forward if we really wanted to end it.

There are much more important things to put our efforts into in this day and age rather than continually bringing up the past. Let's learn from it and move on.

While slavery may not be a popular activity today, it did happen and it is part of our nation's history and should not be blotted out.  We should learn from history and if we delete all references to a chapter we don't like, how will future generations ever know what happened and avoid it?
